which hardware to buy?
Hello, I'm hesitant about building my own computer and intend on just buying a prebuilt one. I'd like to install the mac os on it and was wondering which one of these prebuilt machines would be better suited to accepting the os:
1: intel core 2 quad q6600 2.4GHz, 2GB DDR2 667MHz, 500 GB SATA II drive, integrated graphics
2: intel core 2 duo E7200 2.53GHz, 2GH DDR2 800MHz, 500 GB SATA, nVidia GeForce 9400GT 512mb
I'm wondering which system would be better suited for applications such as final cut studio, photoshop, illustrator, etc. I know you should have a good video card for video editing, but I know of someone who is currently running Final Cut on integrated graphics and it works fine. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Photoshop and Illustrator is not optimal run without a graphiccard, therefore I would choose no. 2, but I were you, then I would build my own one.. Because it's not only cheaper, but you also know exactly what you get.

Hmm I gave it some thought and with the help of a friend I'm going to try to build one. But just to make sure, will these parts work smoothly together? Sorry if it seems like a stupid question, but this is the first time I'm building a computer!
CPU: Intel core 2 duo E8400
Vid card: Asus EN9800GT HYBRIDPOWER/HTDI/512M*
MOBO: Asus P5QL-EM
RAM: 2GB DDR2
HD: 500GB SATAII
*I know you suggested the 8800GT vid card but the place I am buying from says they are all discontinued and none of the stores around me have any cards with the 8800GT chipset in stock. Will the one I picked work just as well?
Thanks again!
