Hackintosh Vaio Z11
I just purchased a Sony Vaio Z11 and was debating on whether or not to make it a hackintosh.
Here are the specs:
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M GPU
not sure where I would find information about the motherboard or wireless card though.
Will I be able to get everything working properly with the listed hardware?
I know that the switchable graphics probably won't work, but are there any other problems?
I recommend using iDeneb 1.4 to get the ball rolling. You won't get the WiFi working but sound will work. As for the switchable graphics card, you have to keep it on the high performance one or auto mode to get the better resolution. When you format your hard drive, you'll notice that you have two 64 SSD. You'll only be able to use the primary hard drive to boot OSX and use your other SSD as an extra hard drive when you have OSX running. That's the farthest I've gotten with that specific model.
