I see that there are several X58 motherboards included in the "Hardware Combos for new users" thread, including some higher end models (Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5, MSI x58 Platinum, and ASUS P6T Deluxe).

I'm interested in going with the X58 EVGA Classified board. IMO, this is the highest end, single CPU board available. It includes four x16 slots, all running at full x16 speed, and three x16 slots running at x8 speed. To me, this is the ultimate future-proof motherboard. I'll likely only use 1 (or maybe 2) of those x16 slots for graphics cards, so the remaining x16 and x8 slots can be used for adding absolutely anything you'd like to add (since x1, x4, x8, and x16 cards can all be used in the x8 or x16 slots).

So, I'd love some insight. What experiences have users had with this EVGA board (part number 170-BL-E762-A1, often referred to as the "EVGA X58 Classified 4 WAY SLI"), or what experiences have users had with EVGA motherboards in general?

Even if you don't have any experience with this board, but know of links to reports from those that do, please feel free to post.

Thank you
