You need to make a RAW partition for OSX, have be at least 20GB, check if you have AHCI support for your SATA Disk in the BIOS and try to Install.

Here is a Hardware Compatibily List of HP Laptops http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/in...2/Portables#HP

Check the spects, what works and what doesnt work, compare and dats it, with luck you'll be fine

    - Download and Burn the DVD image JaS Leopard 10.5.4 or Leo4all v3.
    - Prepare your Partition or your Hard Disk to install Leopard
    - Boot into the DVD and the installer should load now.
    - Select your Language
    - Use Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. In Disk Utility, Select your Partition and format, you should choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled). After partitioning, quit Disk Utility to return to the Leopard Installer. Important: Partitioning the disk erases the entire disk, so make sure you back up your important files first.
    - Leopard will now install. This can take a while, so be patient.
    - It will ask you to Reboot and dats it.

Default Did you get it working?

I have a similar laptop, pavilion dv7 1275dx. I am having issues getting the USB ports working. There are no wifi drivers either from what i have read. Other than that it works great so far. i used the newest iDeneb. Leo4all crashed while loading.

    Default Working!...almost

    Notebook: HP dv7.

As of 10mins ago...Dualbooting Vista and iATKOS 5i.

Remove the power management options to get the install working properly!

I'm now just battling with my Intel 5100AGN wireless, sound and keyboard (usb keyboard works though).

Still testing - anyone have any luck with the sound and keyboard yet?
