Default Gigabyte x58, how to install?

I searched for i7 in posts and got nothing under osx86 so here we go. I got a i7 rig with the following specs:
    Intel i7 920
    Gigabyte X58 UD4P
    3x2gb DDR3-1600 Patriot
    XFX 4890 XT
1 TB WD Caviar Black SATA2 in ide mode
    USB mouse/kb
    no name dvd reader
    Corsair TX850

I am putting it on a separate sata drive but won't buy one til ready to do OS X install. I own a PowerMac G4 400 and a 1st gen MacBook Pro 15. I do mass amounts of video editing and would like to use my i7 gaming rig with OSX instead of buying a 3rd mac. Whats the best way to do this with my specs and do I require buying Leopard or is there a image better suited for my needs. Thanks
