Hi all, I'm looking to build a machine and read the lifehacker guide.
The Gigabyte GA-EP45U-D3P motherboard is no longer available in the uk.
What are my other options?? I know the LAN didn't work and you had a very little amount of code to do to get the audio working but I'd like something as easy to set up to use my asus 8600GT Heat Sin version if I can.

Please advise!!! I have bought my retail copy today and have just come to start buying the rest of the parts and fallen at the first fence!!

that is odd that the GA-EP45-UD3P can't be found anywhere in UK, its selling like hot cakes in US. I would just go with one of the next closest that CAN be found in UK which is GA-EP45-UD3LR

The northbridge, southbridge and lan controller are all the same so the only thing different will be getting the audio working. or keep checking back with the vendors from gigabyte's website that sell in the UK
