Question Front audio connections not working

    Hi,

I`ve a hackintosh with the following config:
    - MOB Intel DG31PR
    - Intel Pentium 775 Dual Core E5200 2.5 Ghz
    - 2Gb RAM Kingston
    - HD 320 Gb
    - mid ATX Zen Akasa Chassis
    - iDeneb v1.3

It`s working better then I thought. Everything is perfect, no audio, video or network issues. The two usb front connection are working fine. But when I tried to use the front earphone connection, it didn`t work. I suppose the mic front connection is not working either. Does anyone know how to solve it?

Thanks in advance for any help.
    Best regards,
    Carlos Lins

    Smile

    Hi Icchansan,

thanks for your answer. But my computer was kind of strange, by the cpu's sound, it seems that the cooler was not maintaining its rmps. Then every time I tried to check it at the setup's hardware monitor the computer freezes. So I took it back to the store to be fixed. But as soon as I have it back I'll try your suggestion.

Then again, thank you very much.

Exclamation Was too good to be true

    Hi Icchansan and everyone.

Well, I just got my computer back and things got more complicated. According to the technician, the problem was the motherboard bios that was outdated. So, with this update, the coolers and sensors are working perfectly but in shutdown, the computer kept showing that Mac error message in several languages (I can't remember what exactly was written).

Following the technician advice, I installed iDeneb 1.3 again using the same options that I used on the first install. It worked fine. The system was doing fine on shutdowns and restarts. Then I set the system to be in Portuguese and restarted it. That went fine until I tried to shut it down. Then, that was the several language error again.

I tried to use the Realtek ALC888 ICH9 that Icchansan suggested. But when I tried to copy it from my pen drive, the computer do not recognizes it on none of the front and back USB connections.

I will try to copy it later from a CD and also do the update to iDeneb 1.4 to see how it works.

    Thanks.

    Unhappy Update Kit crash

    Hi Icchansan,

I installed iDeneb update kit (to v1.4) and now the startup stops on the grey Apple screen. The little "loading circle" keeps rolling endlessly. I've used the startup option "-v" trying to see the error, but I was in a hurry and couldn't write down the description. As tomorrow is Saturday, I'll have time to check it more carefully.

I think it would be better to download and install the full iDeneb 1.4 instead of the update, no?

    Thanks.
