Hi my hackintosh 10.5.2 is working great, everything is super fast. intel quad core overclocked to 3.0ghz, 8800GT, 4gigs of ram, etc etc...my big issue is that my firewire has problems. I'm using a PCI card firewire made by dynex. Works totally fine when I boot into XP but in OSX when I plug in my external hard drive first of all it doesn't show up until i restart my computer with it plugged in. Secondly, it doesn't work fast enough to even play a video or what I need it to do most...edit on FCP... if anyone has any idea as to why this is happening, im not sure if I need a driver or what, but I would surely appreciate any insight.
