    Default Firewire drive not mounting

i have the leo4all v3 hackintosh running on me AMD fine with 10.5.4
now all of a sudden i have noticed that the firewire drive (lacie 500 gig mac formatted) will not mount correctly when i connect it madness

but once i leave it connected powered up and reboot it sees it fine.. but if i just connect it whilst the mac is already booted nothing happens...
you can see that its connected on the system profiler but nothing shows up anywhere else like no icon on the desktop or any icon to it in the hard-drive list madness

here is the info in the system profiler

any offers on sorting this would be appreciated as i am getting a miffed with having to reboot every time i connect the firewire lacie disk disk grrrrrr

    Default Firewire Problems

Hello, I had instaled OS X Leopard Vanilla in a Quad Core computer,, motherboard GIgabyte EP35-DS3L, 6 GB RAM, DDR2 256 Video card , And everything is perfect And beautifull, except the Firewire Card. I had bought two PCI Firewire Cards and any one don't Work!!!!

Please. If Do You Know what can i do to fix this Issue, Write it... All the gods of this Universe Will Love you!!!!.

P.D. If you write it in Spanish, better. My English is not god.

De antemano muchas gracias a todos, y felicidad!!!!
