Default el cheapo hackintosh (hardware check)

First of all, thanks to all the vets who check these posts. I know they probably get old fast.

Wondering if this setup looks legit. I've never built a PC before, but have modded my way inside computers, game consoles and tivos with success. Have used OS X for years.

This is based on an intel atom microatx board, intended for just word processing and web browsing. nothing fancy.

if this works, i may build a HTPC as well, this is just for my mom, to replace her ancient iMac.

    Thanks, any comments welcome!

    El Cheapo (NewEgg wishlist)

Oops, sorry about that! The motherboard I'm looking at is Intel Atom motherboard: Newegg.com - Intel BOXD945GCLF2 Atom 330 Intel 945GC Mini ITX Motherboard/CPU Combo - Motherboard / CPU / VGA Combo

Seeing as the processor is included, its more of a budget hackintosh, but its only for light word processing and web browsing.

I think this has on board video (not great but it works) so that would be a savings too. planning on hooking it up to a no frills 17" LCD, drives would be Western Digital SATA HD and Lite On DVD-R.

Looks like it will work... there is a review for that board on NewEgg referencing using it for a hackintosh. Also if you search ebay for hackintosh, you'll find a guy selling them with this board... Looks like they have a prob with the line in/mic in and s-video out, but I won't use either.

I may build a version of this for a HTPC and setup Boxee, but I would use an Nvidia card with HDMI for video.
