    Default Dual HDD setup question

    Hi there,

I'm a super noob, so bear with me. I'm attempting to install OSX on my intel system, but keep on running into problems with my SATA HDD.

I was thinking of installing just OSX on a small 15 GB IDE drive, and then accessing my files off my 320 GB SATA drive.

Will I notice a performance drop if doing this? I don't know how OSX handles page files (do they even have page files?).

    Thanks
