i'm considering buying a XPS 430 from dell, but i want it to be able to run OS X. anyone have experience with this comp? Or can tell me if it will work or not?

Not sure exactly what you have for chips and stuff, but I was able to get 10.5.8 on my Dell Optiplex 330 using iATKOS v7.

Hardware -
Intel G31/P35/P31 logic with ICH7 chipset
Onboard ADI 1984 audio
Onboard intel GMA 3100 (does not work)
NVidia 7300LE PCIe video
Onboard broadcom 5787 nic (does not work)
Intel Pro 100v nic
generic SATA HD and DVD
4 gig pc6400 ddr2

VoodooHDA for sound, Nvidia kexts for video, and install found the intel nic even though I selected the broadcom
