Computer Noob - Trying to figure out decent build
I'm an aspiring graphic designer quickly realizing that most companies are looking for people familiar with mac platforms. Since I'm not the kind of guy to spend $2500 on a system that doesn't even seem to approach top end specs - I'd much rather build my own little box of nonsense and hope it works out.
My goals for this are pretty simple - I want to be able to boot into both OSX or Windows. I want something that will run programs like Photoshop or Final Cut Pro rather well, especially with some of the bigger files my current computer struggles to work with. Would be nice if it ran computer games at a decent pace as well, but thats a secondary concern.
I've never built a computer before but I'm pretty sure I can figure it out or ask one of my tech buddies for assistance. I'm just having trouble figuring out which components are compatible, and if they're well suited for my needs. Here's a couple parts I picked off NewEgg but I don't really know if I'm moving in the right direction. Let me know if this build would work, or if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.
