I've done a bunch of reading and spec'd out what I think should be a working hackint0sh. If someone with some experience could take a look at my choices and tell me if they look OK, I'd feel a lot better about hitting the BUY button :-)
CPU: Q6600 (not sure if it's G0 or B3, does it matter?)
RAM: 2x2GB DDR2 1066 (G.Skill-PQ)
Video: ASUS EN8600GT 512MB (not sure exactly which model, I'm trying to get a dual-dvi one.. can't find an 8800GT).
HDD: 2x500GB Seagate SATA
Optical: ASUS SATA DVDRW
PSU: Antec EarthWatts 430W (comes with NSK6580 case)
EDIT: just wanted to add I plan installing with boot132 and the retail dvd, and doing software updates to 10.5.5. I've done some reading and it seems like that should be possible without much trouble. but if you think there'll be a problem using that method with this setup please let me know. thanks again!
