Hey, Does anybody know what the best Motherboards to use for running OS X with a Core 2 Duo?

I read in an old tutorial that you have to be careful with regards to the chipset, as one mobo they tried during the test exploded.

This is something that I want to avoid...Hmm.

How can potential Hackintosh builders determine if a motherboard is good or not?
What are the prerequisites that the hardware needs to fulfil?

Apart from the obvious, that the socket on the mobo needs to be the same type as the CPU. and that the RAM has to be compatible with the Mobo Ram slots.

Is there any other requirements?
Is there any dangers?
Please Help....
