When I boot from dvd my IDE- optical drives work perfectly well. They are also recognized in the hardware section. But when I boot without the dvd, there are no ata drives found in this section and my drives are not working. I tried several kext but nothing helped. Im getting crazy, where's the problem???

My hardware:

Q8200
P5Q-SE2
9800gtx+

Everything else works just fine... Makes me crazy!!
