Hi there,
For Leopard, there are iAtkos and Ideneb. They are about the same, and the best one is the one got installed.

I was hoping for something a little more in depth, like if you knew what kexts work the best or which ones i need to use, or even if my hardware is supported at all?

Depends on which OSX you like? Leopard or SL.
You hardware is compatible, but it's fairly recent so may need some tweaking, and what to choose is depends on your installation method.
There are some guides available that should help you out.
Cheers,
