Asrock+E6400+9800GTX+ ? Will it work?
I am so glad I found this forum. I've already researched a bit and everyone seems so helpful!
I need a bit help. I would like to fully switch to a Hackintosh which is stable since I would like to use it for work (web programming, webdesign, video editing etc.). I would like to change because after using Vista and Windows 7 for a while I am totally confident that leopard is the best choice.
My question is a classic! :-)
I have the following system:
ASrock 4CoreN73PV-HD720p R1.0
Intel Core 2 Duo E6400
4 Gb DDRII CSX RAM 800Mhz
Geforce 9800GTX+ /Zotac/
2 db SATA winchester /Samsung/
Which distro would be the best for it? Or should I replace one of the elements(possibly the motherboard)?
I read that 9800GTX is supported and I read this about the E6400 also.
The processor is now tuned to run at 2.64Ghz, and it is stable. Should I set it back to its original speed or tuning is possible with Hackintosh also?
Sorry if this config was mentioned and discussed before...In this case would you be so kind to give me the link to that thread/topic?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Im not sure about your mobo, did you try already? get iPC or Leo4all and try, report back your progress
