Apple store Nvidia GT 120 on hackintosh
Hi,
for a variety of reasons I need a Videocard in my future Hackintosh that supports both DVI and MiniDisplayport.
So, would the Nvidia GT 120 card that is freely available on the apple store: NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 Graphics Upgrade Kit for Mac Pro (early 2009) - Apple Store (U.S.)
work as part of a hackintosh?
The usual question arise: Does it even work? What mainboard works best with it? etc, etc!
Any help is highly appreciated!
Thanks a lot!
Mario

Well, the planed parts are as follows:
Mainboard: GA-EP45-UD3R
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700
Along that, the apple branded NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 available from the apple store would be best as this is the only videocard with MiniDisplayport (I allready have the new 24" Cinemadisplay that only supports MiniDisplayport, hence that choice)

Un million de gracias!!!
So there should be no problem with that videocard? Alas it's an apple branded product made for the MacPro ... but how will it work on a teh above mentioned standard PC Gigabyte board running a Leopard hackintosh?
Especially as the videocard requires 1066MHz DDR3 memory wich the GA-EP45-UD3R does not support ... it only hs DDR2 memory
