I am looking to setup VMware on my laptop (specs below) and run a distro of an Apple OS.
First off I just plan on using the VMware Hackintosh for the use of GarageBand only. I am sure more music related apps may come in the future, but for now this is the only reason I am doing this. So I wanted to know what OS should I use? I was thinking Lion because I thought I seen it to buy for like $10.00 and I don't really want to spend too much on this.

With the OS suggested used to install on my VM Client is there a how-to related link to read/watch?
