Can you dual boot mac osx and vista

i have vista on a sata drive
and am wanting ti put mac os on to a ide drive

is it possible to have the two operating systems on the two to seperate hard drives then switch on the pc and have a option to

boot hard drive sata thats got vista
boot hard drive ide thars got mac osx

with out having to loose any data on my vista drive ?

so when am in windows i get normaly windows and can do my normal things and then if i want to go to mac just swithc pc off and load the mac drive up

It will work dont worry, if you install leopard in secundary HDD u wont lost dat on primary (vista or w/e)
