    Unhappy 1440x900 resolution in OSX 10.4.7

    How do i do this - set a 1440x900 resolution on my laptop in 10.4.7?

    Video card: Ati M10

    you can't, your card isn't supported.

    pffsh, ixgor, dont listen to that noob. You sure can set that resolution. When you're at the darwin boot prompt, type this in and then press enter:
    Code:
    "Graphics Mode"="1440x900x32"

    And just when I thought you couldn't put 16/10 or 16/9 resolutions but only 5/4 or 4/3 in Darwin bootloader.

    Makes me wonder why everybody cried for proper drivers back then...

    My bad then, it should work.
