[Warranty] Tips > How to get an iPhone replaced
ok this already worked 3 times and heres what i did.
first off the phone has to be a broken phone it cant just be a hardware failure it has to be broken. next make sure you take a female to talk to the mac genius, preferably a good looking female. tell her to do all the talking. tell her to just say she barely bought the phone or it was a gift and i was showing it off and i dropped and broke it. and she was waiting for her plan that she has now to end before she activates it. make up some random bs story. they will look at it and hopefully its either covered by warranty or offer the accidental damage replacement where you pay 200,250,300 depending on the phone. i have succesfully done this with 3 hacked/jailbroken phones. 1 i got the free replacement and the other 2 i paid the 250. they didnt plug it into the computer once to check it. so maybe it will work for you GOOD LUCK!

I refuse to add in why this WON'T work due to the forums flamers and respected members flaming lower ones...
But like it was mentioned above, we [Mac Genii] do not fall for every hott girl what walks into our store.

Here are the facts:
- Apple has records of which iPhones have been activated through AT&T. They can bring up this information based on your serial number or phone number
AT THE STORE or OVER THE PHONE

yeah only the nerds.. the only thinng that will work is if you really have a problem and its under warranty, or if the workers are nice/new!
yesterday i went to me apple store to return my old case for the iphone, box was opend and i did not have a receipt too so the guy said ok we will retrun this for you but i need to take % 10 off.. ok then i browse the store some more and i went to this new guy at the register and he gave me the full return, lol
so i was happy and got a new incase slider
