[Warranty] Replacement of a drowned phone ?
My iphone got wet so now I have no service. I
want to go to an apple store and ask them to give me a new one.
I know the warrenty doesn't cover water demage, So I want to have the
"Iphone needs repair" message on my iphone and play dumb and say I don't know what happend. My questions are, how do I bring this message up on my iphone? and could this work and apple replace my iphone?
J to the T. Shaken, not Stirred
There's a water damage sensor in the headphone jack that's going to give you away as soon as the 'genius' takes a look, so dont bother trying because replacement is unfortunately not an option for you.
but if i'm going to have the "repair needed" message
they're not going to even bother checking the headphone jack.
they're just going to say something is wrong and give me a new one, right?
please I need help
I want to return this iphone this weekend.
How can I restore the iphone to the original mode just like I get it out of the box?
