in 2.2.1 when connecting plates do not, but now asked to start playing "Show on the TV?" in agreement with the only sound. failure, all is well.

Can you modify a file to avoid showing any messages when connecting to any device?

Really the patch for 2.2.1 is working great, I used my iPhone as a DivX Player for my children, and the result is very good.
Simply apply it exactly as explained and tv ouput is perfect.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! With your iapd, I finally got my Memorex iFlip to work with my iPhone OS2.1.

Here's how:

1) Install screensplitter from cydia.
2) Pull up youtube.app and play a video. You will get the 'display on tv?' prompt. Click yes.
3) Start screenspliter. Viola! Your iphone is now displayed on the iFlip.

Hope this helps others too!

I followed your instructions. It works but the TV is showing the reduced color mirror and the iphone is in full color. Is there anyway to flip it so that TV is in full color?

i have a problem i hope someone can help me

after patching the iapd file , when i play a video, after selecting show on tv it playes the file on tv but on my phone it shows a snapshot of the video and when the iphone screen turns off after a few seconds the video stops on tv . if i touch the screen to prevent it from turning off, the video continues to play with no problem.
my phone is 2g with 2.2 frameware

that is normal! when you use te tv out the iphone shows a snapshot.
you have to put off the automatic lock of the screen and the video will not stop.


i have a ipod touch 2 gen wun 2.2.1 fimr jailbrek and the patch do not work with me.. only audio on tv and the video run on the ipod!!
i replace the iapd with 0755

Hi i have installed the iapd patch but everytime i play a movie from Safari from YouTube or appears the message "display in tv" but i cannot chose nothing and the iphone freeze. What can i do? can i restore the original file?
