    Default [USB] iPhone not recognized

Hello everyone i have a 1.1.2OTB restored with itunes to 1.1.4 . I used iplus2.0b to jailbreak/activate/unlock all went well until a couple of days later when i needed to recharge my phone i get this message "this accessory is not made to work with the iphone" on my my screen. so i decided to restore in itunes and do it all over again but no go, itunes doesn't recognize my iphone and my computer gives me an error "USB device not recognized" so i decided to uninstall itunes and reinstall still the same problem.i cant access my phone with any programs like liberty+,iplus, ziphone ibricker so on ond so on. If anybody can help me PLEASE i would really and greatly appreciate it.
    Thank You

It sounds to me like a defective USB cable or dock. You should try to use a different one. If that doesn't work, it's probably a problem with the usb connector on your iphone.

i,ve even tried a different cable, dock and another computer and no luck. Iguess your right my phone is f@#$ed i just hope that there is a way to screw up the phone via ssh so when i return it to apple store it won't even boot up and they give me a new one or send it in for repairs.
    Thank you for the help.

I have the same issue but another explanation. I have exact same symptoms..no USB, no recharge, no recognition by ITunes but iphone does recharge with an old IPOD charger i have .. so that disregard the possibility of having the USB connector faulty on the Iphone..My explanation is that Apple has activated its feature (for which they have filed a patent) and that prevents the phone from charging in case of suspected fraudulent use...That sounds crazy but that is the only explanation i have at this stage...by the way my iphone would not even accept to go to Recovery mode....another DRM like action from Apple...

Any comments (or help) much appreciated...

pierre1410 were are in the same boat my phone also recharges through the cable no problem, but cant sync with itunes pc doesn't recognize it and so on. Someone told me that it could be the usb connector on our iphones in other words hardware problem but that still doesn't explane why the phone still charges when plugged in so i think there is a way to fix this how i don't know .
    Any help would greatly appreciated

If it is not recognized by your computer's USB plug, you should restore it (DFU MODE).

i had the very same symptom when messing with the lockdown files.

try manually putting it in DFU mode then try it, If it doesnt work take it to apple, because its in DFU mode they won't be able to tell

Indeed we are in same boat with slightly different situations. My phone does not even go to DFU or recovery mode. I have lately tried to change the lockdownd without success...The only think i can say is that i have made the mistake of trying to restore on Itune not using the Shift method...my phone was then seen by Itunes as 1.1.3 even though it was 1.1.4 on the iphone itself. I think this messed files version and have the iphone activate its security feature. I can still access SSH so i am not sure if there is way to re'do a manual unlocking from scratch using SSH...the hrad way but i am running out of ideas...
