    Default [Unexpected Event] iPhone VS Washing machine + Dryer

    I've mistakely put my iphone in the washing maching + Drayer.
    I had no power when it was on , so that's good.
    What should I do? The iphone does not seem to respond to anything

    Put the iPhone in another cycle in the Dryer, then try the micro-wave for 2,567min (you have to be exact, use a timer)

    Then you're ok.

    lol. and i'm laughing here. i'm sorry, but think about it. put your computer in the carwash and then dry it. it won't work anymore. and so does the iphone. it won't work anymore. unless you got SOOOO much luck. but it seems that you haven't.
    My FW way:
    1.1.1 JB/unlocked ->1.1.3 JB/unlocked ->1.1.1 locked ->1.0.2 JB/unlocked ->1.1.1 JB/unlocked. ->1.1.2 JB/locked ->fxxcked up not booting ->
    1.1.1 JB/unlocked ->1.1.2 JB/unlocked ->1.1.3 JB/unlocked ->fxxcked up, spinning wheel of death ->restored 1.1.3 ->1.1.3 JB/unlocked -> 1.1.4 JB/unlocked ... Now 3.1.3

    Try go back to Apple Store and pretend that it can't be power up, deny everthing the sales people throw at you... You might get a replacement.

    That must SUCK!

    If you spend the money on an iPhone, you should know where it is at ALL times!

    if there is no sign of water damage (i.e. as new screen) then I would cut myself a small circle of blotting paper and delicately position it at the bottom of the headphone socket to cover the 'water detection' paper that is in there (it will have turned pink during the wash - unless of course you washed it with your new denims in which case it may be blue - sorry, try not to joke here as it is a sad day for you).
    The Genius desk will inspect the headphone socket for water damage and if they see pink they will reject your story... hence the white blotting paper.
    unfortunately, your only chance is an exchange on the spot becuase if they send it for repair, there is another piece of this water detection paper stuck to the comms board inside the back and the game is up!
    Good luck!
