Hi, Im sorry to hear about what happened. But, I'm pretty sure you can fix it with a screen replacement.
1. I'm pretty sure that replacing the screen will fix your problem, but there are no guarantees. if it doesn't, you could always resell the replacement screen and then sell the rest of your iPhone for parts.
2. You must get the screen with the digitizer, the screen with no digitizer is virtually useless because it does not have the touch part installed on it, so you must get the one
WITH THE DIGITIZER.
3. No clue? Umm maybe? '
I have replaced my iPhone screen and it now all works perfectly.
Heres the thread on my iPhone screen replacement.
