Default [Touchscreen] Weird "Thing" above the ear piece under the glass

Sorry but I do not really know how to explain it properly. But anyways, I have noticed that if I look at my iPhone under certain light and at a certain angle, I will see 2 spots directly above the speaker in the ear piece.

There is an oblonged oval like the speaker in the ear piece an there is a circle to the right of that. Does anyone have any idea what these things are? The only thing I can possibly think of would be some kind of liight sensor to make the phone display the screen while the phone is taken away from your head or to turn the screen off whene you put the phone up to your head.

Any other ideas? It is not important but I was just wondering if anyone knew.

The weird things you can see are simply the Proximity sensor and the Light sensor
