    Have you tried letting the battery completely die (Use the phone until it won't let you anymore, then leave it for a day before recharging). Apparently this is the only real way to reset the touchscreen. If it does not work, it is a hardware problem.

    Yes i tried it but it is truly a Hardware problem,what else can I do?

    Get the link to the file that changes the sensitivity for the screen, it worked for me. Just upload it to the right directory and you are done.

    It is a General.plist file... haven't tested it with 1.1.1 so don't know about that.

    I fixed my problem. This may not fix everyones problem though.

    The very bottom of my screen did not work so I could not use the space bar of the keyboard, dot, among other features. By following the instructions on the site above and changing the sensitivity of my screen problem is solved.
