[TouchScreen] Keyboard not registering bottom row
Alright here is the story I have an iPhone and im in canada so I cant get my phone warrantied so im looking for ways to repair my phone
right now the bottom row of keys on my iphone keyboard dont work when you press them it hits the letter above. from what i have been reading this is something that requires your iphone to be replaced.....
but what i cant find is if this is related to the LCD and digitizer?.... I can find new LCD's on ebay so getting one isnt a problem but I want to know for sure if this is the problem
apparently this is a common problem
any help would be greatly appriciated

You need a new digitizer, not the LCD.
AFAIK the LCD cannot be separated from the digitizer without destroying the LCD, so you'll need to replace both.

What would cause the digitizer to do this? I just noticed that my keyboard is messed up as well.

I had 3 iphones with the same problem (part or the entire digitizer not working), and in all cases the problem got solve with a new display+digitizer.
In all 3 cases the owners drop the iphone, and that caused the problem.
Changin the display is a little tricky and you can screw something else in the process, but if you are up for that here is a video:

Another choice you have is to save yourself all the trouble and sell it on ebay,, I have seen some iphones with that problem go around 250
good luck

You would think that the iphone would be more robust being that it IS a cell phone.
Is the digitizer really that fragile to not even be able to survive one drop?
I use a Agent18 case on my iphone with a screen protector. My iphone is in mint condition, except for the scraches on the back plate caused by the case itself. One drop off of my nightstand onto laminate wood flooring (which is not as solid as cement, tile, etc.) broke my digitizer.

Well, I have seen several iphone drops without consequences , and also see some really light ones that turn out to broke the digitizer.
I know that is you are under ATT yo can go to the apple store and they will "fix it", unfortunately for us outside USA this is not and option
