Default [Touch Screen] Part of touch screen will not recognize touch while in application.

Here is the issue. I can touch any part of the home screen to launch an application and everything seems fine. Once I get within an application or settings or what not part of the touch screen does not recognize the touch anymore.

For instance: If I go into settings, the part of the screen that does not seem to recognize anything is around the wifi and airplane mode. I cannot change either of those but the rest of the screen is fine. As stated before this part of the screen seems to have no problems when on the home screen.

I have never heard of this problem and have no idea what happened.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Default

I have the same problem too. Getting ready to try a restore in about 4 hours when I get home. Mine happened this morning. It was fine till it froze. I rebooted, unlocked the screen and went to Safari, couldn't click anything. Same with all apps. Home screen is fine, but can't click anything once in apps.
