Exclamation [Stylus] For your big/fat fingers ?

I saw an iphone stylus for sale on ebay and it turned out to be a pen tip
and a video on youtube which shows a good working stylus but the person doesnt explain how his stylus works...

if anyone can teach me how to make my own or know a place where i can purchase one..please reply

i really hate how my fingers aren't small enough to hit the iphone keys without errors.

i tried the negative side of a AAA battery and that does work well but its just annoying hearing the battery click against the surface. I am pretty sure that if i use it enough i would end up breaking my screen.

Wow, I just tried the battery thing. I find it interesting, but not particularly surprising, that only the negative end of the battery works. The reason why the iPhone's screen is not receptive to stylus input is its unique capacitive touch sensing method, the only way that multitouch ever could have happened. Thus, theoretically, we would need to create an electrical disturbance instead of actual physical contact. I built a crude stylus by taping two dead AAs together, negative ends out. It works pretty well, and the tape, which covers the whole thing including the tips, stops the annoying metal to glass click.

I also noted that you can't extend the capability by any means, like through wire or a terminal.

any magnet works, i just tried with 5 crappy fridge magnets, and work well just one side, as the battery i think the negative, so there you go, atach a litle magnet to te tip of a stylus maybe that will work./
