    Default [Speaker][SOLVED] Stopped working

originally 1.02, updated to 1.11 then 1.12, unlocked using AnySIM. All functions working fine for months, no damage, drops etc...

only today I have noticed the speaker has stopped working.
when i select 'speaker' (loudspeaker) i can hear the call.
when its turned off there is nothing at all... no keyboard sounds either...

So i traced back everything I did since the last time I used the phone to make a call.

I did install a few apps yesterday from installer, so I have deleted them but speaker is still not working.

I also installed Erica's Make It Mine and changed my provider's name to my own name. so i reverted back again. still no difference...

I also used a set of earphones from my iPod because I didnt have my iPhone earphones with me. the earphones worked fine. cant say whether the speaker was woring beforehand as I havent made a call all day.

so i am stumped, bizarre! tried rebooting several times, still no change.

Has anyone had this problem, and if so is there a way to solve it?

    Hey...
use a cottonstick (those you use in your ear) and some iso-prophylalcohol (alc. 99%) too clean the plug! it'll help. its a general problem with dust in the plug.
