[Speaker] the ear speaker doesn't seem to work.
I have the following problem
I've bought an Iphone, but when someone calls me I only can hear it when I turn speaker on.
I thougt it would be a firmware problem. I updated to 1.1.4 and unlocked the phone, same problem.
I also read that it could be that when you put an headphone in the problem could be appear. I put in and put out about 50 times a headphone, but still no sound.
When I go in the iphone to settings and then sounds I can hear the sound going out of the box. But music on the ipod function won't work, no sound.
I opened the iphone, I removed the headphone flex cable.
On ebay I bought a new headphone flex cable. I connected the cable, but still the same problem. No sound out of the box.
The boxes are not broken, because with settings sound I hear the ringtone. But when I receive a call or I want to play music it's only possible with a headphone.
Anyone an idea what the hardwareproblem could be?
or is there a possibility in softwaremethod to push the sound out of the boxes?

Try this, it worked for me:
Go to settings, general, reset, reset all settings. It reboots and hopefully this works for you.
Thumbs up if i helped.
