My iphone is on 1.1.1 and from yesterday, the Earpiece and mic are not working when the ear phone is unpluged but it works fine when I use the speaker mode. It seems like there is a problem with the ear phone connector and it cannot detect the ear phone is unpluged. Can anyone tell me how to fix it? and I will go to US next month, do you think I can have it fixed by Apple? If so, what do I need to do? revirginise the iphone? Pls help

do a search man, it's all over this forum. Try plugging and unplugging your headphones lots of times fast or find something to clean the plug a little with some alcohol.

If that doesn't work, you may try changing the housing circuitry.
