Our problem is ... our iPhone only power-on with AC power... and only show "Apple" icon
If we connect to iPhone to PC through USB cable, the iPhone didn't power-on

I did the soldering and it worked, now I can get my phone into recovery mode when connected to the computer..
But i tryied to restore the iphone with Itunes and I get error message number 1611...
And I`m back in the infinity loop.... Any one knows how to solve this issue??
Also, the batery does not seem to be charging because everytime I unplug the phone (from wall or computer), it dies...
tks

The 1st solution to unbrick iPhone with power-on problem
Hi i was wondering do you have a guide on how to do this? as i cannot see where to solder the wire's? thank you very much

Last weekend I unlocked 2 Iphones, 1.1.2 OtB 4.6 Bootloader, I used the hardware method on the first one, and it worked!!!, but when I repeated the process on the 2nd, I made a mistake.
I was removing the metal plate above the comm. board, and the iphone turned on by accident, quickly turned it off..., but when I tried to turn it on again, the problem began....The Battery was depleted, I plug it to the charger but the battery only reach de 10% of it’s charge (stays in red), despite the battery icon at the upper right side of the screen is showing a full battery meter, what Can I do???, where can I check for a solution???, I managed to complete the unlocking process, it works 100%, but only when it’s plugged, if I disconnect it, it turns off after 5 seconds…..plissss…need Help….the Iphone wasn´t mine…..!!!!!
Best wishes...

I think I found the solution to this problem. I unsoldered the red battery lead from the commboard and just connected it directly to the new wire that the OP describes. So, it's exactly the same as the OP's picture but neither the new wire or the battery lead are connected to the commboard, they're just floating around. Not 100% confirmed to fix it yet, but I just successfully restored the firmware.

So are you suppose to solder the wire onto both parts there? Or just the first one that appears the OP only soldered onto? He has both circled but iam not sure.
I soldered it on, took a few tries to get it to work. But finally I got it to start up without anything connceted. I was then attempting to proceed with typing in the commands on terminal, and then it just froze, then i unplugged it from being charged, and what do you know, it turned off.. Now it wont turn back on anymore.. Did I not solder the wire properly?
