so i replaced my glass screen because i broke it. put it back together right it was working fine then a few hourse later the screen wouldnt turn back on. ive rebooted it many times, it vibrates and still charges but the screen just wont come back on.

ive pulled it apart a few more times and made sure all the connectors were connected properly and they are. any ideas?

You didn't mention which model iPhone, nor did you mention if it the backlight that is now not working or if the LCD is displaying nothing.

its a 3g - and the backlight isnt working and the lcd isnt displaying anything either?

Did you make sure you bought the right part? The digitizer connector between a 3g and a 3gs look the same but are completely different. I replaced a 3gs screen with a 3g part and couldnt get it to work till I realized I was using the wrong part.
