Default [Question] Wi-Fi Issues - Piece to be replaced?

I have 2 client's iPhones. The first one have the famous problem about Grayed Wi-Fi, no bluetooth, error 1011, iphone cannot make any calls repair nedeed, etc. I have been done all the software methods and nothing worked.

Question 1: have I to replace the Logic or the Comm board?

The second one has only Wi-Fi inestability, sometimes Wi-Fi becomes grayed, and can be fixed doing a iphone reset. But even the Wi-Fi appears to be ok it is imposble to connect to any network and when I try to use it, the iPhone hang up or reboots itself.
This iPhone actually can make calls, IMEI is correct, bluetooh works ok, etc. Only the Wi-Fi is getting trouble.

Question 2: have I to replace the Logic or the Comm board?

    Thank you

Default [Question] Wi-Fi Issues - Piece to be replaced?

The CommBoard handles bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, so replacing it should resolve any issue related to that.
However, for the first scenario (no WiFi, BT, nor calls) you should thing on changing the Logic Board instead of the CommBoard since there's not that big difference in price between the two.

    Regards

BTW. For scenario #2 you could upgrade to FW 2.0.1 in order to avoid those annoying reboots (there's already unlock+jailbroken for 2.0.1). In case you can live with the bunch of apps you can find for 1.1.4.
