Default (Question) Should i get a replacment motherboard to fix damage?

I recently posted another thread about how the hypercard damaged my phone,
It will no long accept sims
I opened it up tonight just finished now and need you guys to help me with two Quesions (PLEASE)

1, Tell me do i need a full motherboard replacement (it seems like the easiest fix)
2, If i get a 1.1.1 replacement motherboard will it work and can it be unlocked? (i think the answer to this is yes but just checking)

Here's a picture for everyone to see what's wrong the sims connectors have been pulled straight out by the hypercard
(Again i used no force to put the card in or take it out)

    EDIT
You have to click on the thumbnail to see properly, if someone could PM me how to put full size images on this forum that would be great thanks

You can just resolder sim card holder in order it to work, or you can get communication board to change it (as you said - the easiest fix). If you get replacement board with 04.01.13_G baseband it can be software unlocked.

So its the communication board not the motherboard?

Im not going to chance soldering a new sim holder that would be harder than soldering a new board onto the battery
    Thanks for the reply

It's the motherboard and perhaps the best solution is replacing it.
