i think i need your help for some stuff.
i think you all know the problem with iOS 4 on the iphone 3g like laggs and freezes.
so i decide to upgrade my iphone a bit.
i want to upgrade:

Nand
RAM(difficult because of BGA)
(maybe CPU but i think this is to complicated)

i have a way to buy these part so this is not the problem.

my questions for you a now:
-is the nand or ram limited by the software?
-the nand is not BGA right?
-will the nand be formatted by itunes?? or do ihave to do it on my own??

After I think now 5 months with no answer decided do some stuff on my own.
What I know now is that
First:The only thing that is doable is the NAND upgrade(Ram is integrated into ARM CPU and BGA -.-)
Second: NAND is not limited by software(what a dumb idea )
Third: NAND is not BGA -> upgradable
Fourth: NAND is formatted by iTunes when performing Restore

So In 2 weeks when I will start working for Panasonic. I maybe post somethig new about my little project.

So what do you think about it?? Hints are always welcome. But please no "not possible... e.g

NAND is not a problem.

RAM is not a problem(for me).

ARM CPU is not a problem(for me)

Removing those parts are not a big problem for me. We've been doing it day by day.

What you need to focus,are those things that what we called incompatibility.

Think about it and if you figured out what im trying to say,then post here and I'm happy to answer,what you need to know.
