Default [Problem] Power button not working

today when i was listening to my ipod on iphone, the power/lock button was working completely fine, as well as when i was txting. but when i got home later on tonight, i took it outta my purse to charge it, the screen was somewhat acting slow but i didnt think much of it since it does it from time to time. anyhow, until i plugged in the charger, i tried locking it like always, the lock/power buton was not responding (it clicks but no action)!!!! i tried everything from holding the home and power button together to do the reset but nope, tried shutting off my phone but nothing worked. i searched from site to site... everyone told me to restore it through itune which looks like the only option but i am very afraid due to fact how my iphone is unlocked using t-mobile sim card, never had any issues with the usage whatsoever. until now the power button stopped responding!!! will restoring through itune relock my phone? it is a 2g 16gb version 1.1.4 jailbroken, not sure which app or whatever its called was used to unlock the phone since i took it into a store but someone plz help!! im super frustrated!!!

If you want to stay @ 1.1.4 firmware just shift/restore with a new 1.1.4 fw image again

Then afterward all you will need to do is run iLiberty+ or Quickpwn1.1 to Activate & jailbreak again.

But personally if I was having this trouble I would consider updating to 2.2.1 firmware and jailbraking with the latest Quickpwn.

Its really easy... Have a read throw this guide and if you're not sure about any step let us know

No Guarantees... But if you take your time you will be surprised how straight forward the hole upgrading from 1.1.4 to 2.2.1 is.

Make sure you have your pictures, contacts backed up on your computer somewhere.

Apart from that theirs not much you can do wrong that can't be corrected by simply restoring again.

    good luck
