Exclamation [Problem] iPhone turns off between 5-60 seconds after turn it on

    Ok here it goes

My battery needed to be replaced in my iPhone, so i bought a kit, opened it up and replaced the battery, closed it up (with some dents lol) and used the phone for about an hour and it worked fine, made calls, stayed on while not plugged in, so the battery works.

Now i decide while im at it i want to restore it to the newest firmware, so i do so, then i unlock and jailbreak it

    ok so far so good,

but, around 45 seconds later, my phone shuts off, fine whatever i just restored maybe it needs to reboot, turn it back on, turns off after 5 seconds

now whenever i turn on my phone it turns off between 5-60 seconds

Now i acknowledge this may be a hardware problem, and i am willing to open it back up since it will be easy now because i have opened it already

so if you've gotten this far and read my whole post then if you have any idea as to how to fix it or what the problem may be then please share

    thanks i really appreciate it.

EDIT: It is a 1st gen iphone
    i have restored it twice.

    try a dfu restore?

    is it a 2g or 3g?
Get the latest info for NoAccSplash Here
Currently it should work on iOS 4.x - 6.x

ok, sorry old thread but i have the same problem. I've googled a lot of threads about that but every threat without solution!

My iPhone is a hacked First Gen!

    Let me explain the problem:

the owner where i bought my iphone has did an restore (to the newest firmware) to erase all his data. it was a hacked 1.0.2

so far i need to hack it to put my Orange SIM-Card but i did not now HOW at this time. I found an hack for 1.0.3 so i did all these steps and it works perfectly!

from this time on the iPhone everytime powers off 5-10 sec after it locks the screen. i have found a lot more hacks and i got alot experience on it.
i tried a lot of hacks and firmwares - also original restores in dfu and so on.

Now i have a 3.1 hacked - works fine but the problem is still there.

    what works is:
whes i power the iphone off and i dont touch it for about 1 hour, i power it on and it works nice perfectly for hours.
But if i use it to much or when i syncronise it with the computer it powers off again.

    Somebody knows what to do?
