[Unexpected Event] Wood floor vs iPhone = Malfunctioning in a weird way
My brother dropped his iPhone (from a low height) to a wooden floor.
The thing is that the iphone now detects something pulgged in all the time, when you restart it, it shows the warning about the device not being made for the iphone and to turn airplane mode on... I think it sometimes takes a little while for it to appear, but it happens all the time anyways...
The phone itself works perfectly, you can make calls, recieve calls, etc... but the speakers seem to be blocked by this ghost device, for example if I make a call and turn on the speakers, press the home button, go to the ipod, and put a song, i can hear it, but if I stop the call it goes silent again, i also can hear the lock/unlock sound...
I tried restoring it but it didn't fix it, so i'm guessing it's a hardware issue... can anyone give me a hand with this?
iPhone repeatedly prompts to enter airplane mode
I am having the same damn problem. The phone works fine except the speakers when I play music on the iPod. If anyone knows something, please help
