[Unexpected Event] Rain and iPhone are not friends.
While riding home in the pouring rain, my beloved iPhone which was sitting in my motorbike jacket got somewhat wet (this happened a month or 2 back, just havent needed a phone much over xmas).
When i got home, it was saying something like "The accessory you have plugged in is not supported on this iPhone" or something like that.. there was no accessory plugged in. I assume it was shorting out so kept thinking something was plugged in.
This problem went away after it dried out, but then I started having intermittant problems with the speakers, i.e. they wouldnt work at all. The earpiece would, just not the speakers. This problem also went away, so now the only problem I am left with is that the battery only seems to last the best part of 6 HOURS now. I mean, before it would last like 2 days which wasnt great but at least I could get through the day, now it is rediculous.
I have let it run flat and re-charged it countless times but still it'll only last 6 or so horus.
P.S. I bought this in the US but I live in the UK, can I send it off to be repaired / replaced by the UK apple guys?
Thanks in advance,
