Iphone 3G Black Screen after LCD Replacement

Recently i bought an iPhone 3g 16GB with a cracked lcd screen. The digitizer and glass was perfectly fine. So i decided to buy a new lcd. I replaced the broken one with the new one and after this the screen won't turn on. It stays black all the time.

I can only tell that the iPhone is on by itunes - when i connect it to my pc it tries to restore. The restore procees end with error code 21 or 23.
I read the thread "unable to restore iphone 3gs 3.1 firmware, error 23", did everthing that was stated there but still it doesn't help my problem.

Is there any solution to my problem? Should i try to do something about or just let it go ;)?

Looks to be a communications problem within the phone. Check all connections, also try to change battery.

That or your baseband is corrupted.

The error 23 thread is primarily intended to help to wipe the iPhone before trying to get it replaced under warranty.

This is 99% of the time a hardware problem.

Ok, so I will try to reassamble the whole phone once again. Can the error be caused by a faulty vibration module? It is broken to pieces and I did take it out of the phone.

I personally doubt that the vibration module could be the problem, but I'm a software guy, not a hardware guy.
