hi,

i have a strange problem with my iphone. it's a week 38 phone with bl 3.9. everything works fine but i have no wi-fi. it's hard to explain, so take a look at the pictures:




Because there is no wifi i cannot activate the Phone. I tried upgrading to 1.1.3 and then downgrading again. But the problem is still there.

anyone had this problem, too and can help me to fix it? would be nice.

This sounds similar to a problem I'm currently investigating in this thread:

If you downgrade to 1.0.2 you should be able to easily activate/jailbreak without needing wifi. Use iBrikr and PACAY (an older method, might be hard to find the files you need) on Windows or Independence on a Mac. If you need help with that part feel free to send me a PM.

Once you can install apps on the phone, try running bbupdater -v using MobileTerminal, I'm curious what the output will be... It's surprising that you still have a valid IMEI.

I have had the same problem for a month!! One day it has stopped working and now it doesn't turn on in anyway!!!
I think it's a communication board probllem!!

Woops, fixed the link. Yeah, it sounds like your logic board overheated because of the problem and is now dead. I just got confirmation of a dead motherboard in another one of the iPhones I've been trying to fix.
