I want to buy a new iPhone from the apple online store in the US, but I am afraid that it will come with the new hardware and that I will not be able to downgrade the baseband, is that throw? or the new hardware is only in Europe?

and if it's include the new hardware, is the dev team trying to re-unlock 1.1.2 with new hardware?

just buy one unlocked from ebay, from a decent seller. easiest way to get one without the risk and headache!
