    Default MobileMe calendar not syncing

Recently, my jailbroken and unlocked iPhone 3G (FW 2.2) stopped syncing the calendar via MobileMe. Everything else syncs fine.

Well, I had some other slowness and strangeness going on, so I restored the phone and went to 2.2.1. Everything great except... it still doesn't sync the calendar!

Any help would be great appreciated! Let me know if there is more info needed.

    Thanks in advance!

Why don't you check out the settings on your iPhone and computer. May be you accidentally turned off your Calendar Sync option. Because everything working fine except Calendar seems weird. If nothing was syncing it would be normal but that's strange.

As I said. Check your settings on your iPhone and computer to see if something is turned off or not. To do that on your iPhone follow this way(Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendar>your MobileMe account). And your control panel of MobileMe on your computer.

If that don't work try setting up MobileMe from the beginning on your iPhone. Sometimes codes get broken.

I don't think there is a problem with your iPhone being jailbroken. Because my settings and gear is just like yours and it works like fine.

Post if you need anything else.

    Good luck.

I agree that jailbreaking probably has nothing to do with it; I was just trying to give as much info as possible.

I've checked settings on both my Mac and the iPhone. In fact, I have completely deleted my MobileMe account and set it back up on the iPhone. I also have checked to ensure that Push is enabled for each MobileMe service and that those services are all set to sync on the iPhone.

Like I said, it was working fine for a long time and then just quit syncing (I noticed that the calendar hadn't been synced in two or three days but that all of the previous data were there.)

Thanks for the response, but I'm still looking for a solution.

Ok. Then try restoring your iPhone. I know it will be long but it worths trying.

Then I suggest you to create a new iPhone. Don't restore from a backup. Let the settings be factory settings. Then just setup MobileMe and try it.

If everything is working fine then load your Apps and multimedia. Then check again if MobileMe is working or not. And then Jailbreak your iPhone.

Right now I'm thinking this is happening either because of a problem in your Kernel which will pass when you restore or a correspondence in MobileMe with someother app.

    GOOD LUCK AGAIN.

    Already tried those things....

I already restored. I didn't use the backup, I told iTunes it was a new iPhone.

    Still not syncing....

Well only one option left. You have to call Apple Tech. support. Maybe it's problem with MobileMe.

    Dial 1-800-MY-IPHONE (1-800-694-7466)

If you are living somewhere other than USA then I suggest you call from Skype.

After 2 hours on the phone and in chat with Apple, they managed only to delete the calendar data that had already synced to the iPhone. Their official answer was that my iCal calendar was too big -- 26MB -- and that I had to delete entries in order for the iPhone to sync correctly.

I even deleted all of my previous entries older than 15 days and the iCal backup file was nearly the same size (actually a tiny bit LARGER).

    Still no sync. =(

Well, it will be hard but I say you give a try for trying your MobileMe account on another iPhone or iPod Touch.

If it works there then you should say that there is a problem with your iPhone. But if you will face the same problem then you should call Apple, explain the situation and request a new iPhone. I'd like to inform you if you don't know that Apple renews their gear when there is a problem.

I'm joining this thread because I'm having a similar problem. My jailbroken/unlocked-not sure of the difference-iphone syncs sporadically. I've checked the settings-calendar and contacts are too sync. Contacts syncs from mobileme but calendars don't-at least not on any sort of regular basis.

    Any help is appreciated.
