    Hi my 1st gen iphone stopped working and it wont turn on or charge

    More info would be helpful.
    Firmware?Unlocked?With what?Jailbreak?
    Did this happen after you installed something?

    This is what happened my friends dad drives a taxi and someone didnt have money to pay so he gave the 1st gen iphone and a digital camera. My friend gave me the phone cause he doesnt need it and it doesn't turn on or charge.

    That must have been quite a ride.An iphone AND a camera?U re sure its an iphone right?Is it charged?Do u have a usb cable?When u connect it to a computer is it charging?

    ya lol iphone 8gb i have the usb from my jailbroken ipod touch and i used my friends wall charger and nothing happens

    Well sounds like a hardware problem.If nothing else comes up,u may as well open it,following the guides from ifix.com just in case it needs a battery replacement or something similar.
